No. 1 Preseason Ranking
The OWU field hockey team is selected by coaches as the favorite to win the NCAC Conference championship. The Bishops won the tournament in 2022.

Both the OWU men’s and OWU women’s soccer teams earn a Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches for the 2022-23 academic year.
Academic Honor Roll
Eleven OWU women's lacrosse players are named to the 2023 Division III Academic Honor Roll. That’s the highest total among all NCAC institutions.
Scholar-Athlete Recognition
Ten OWU softball players earn 2023 Division III Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors. The team also earns a spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's list of top GPAs.
All-Academic Team
The OWU men’s golf team receives 2022-23 Division III All-Academic Team honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America. Only 28 teams earn the recognition.
