Unanimous Choice
The OWU men’s lacrosse team is unanimously predicted to repeat as the North Coast Athletic Conference champions, earning all nine first-place votes in the NCAC’s preseason coaches poll. The Bishops are looking to add a league-leading 23rd NCAC title.
Preseason All-American
Men’s lacrosse midfielder Henry Ross ’27 is named a Division III Preseason All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine. Ross, Wade Beckstrom ’27, and Noah Citek ’26 also earn honorable mentions from Inside Lacrosse in its list of Nike Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans.
OWU Program Record
Women’s track & field athletes Katherine Dortmund ’28 (from left), Alaina Nathan ’29, Kaylee Lusk ’29, and Kennedy Elfers ’28 set a program record in the 4x200 meter relay, with a time of 1:42.80. The Jan. 31 result beats the fastest time at an NCAC indoor conference championship, set by OWU in 2014.
