The 1842
The Bishop cuts the ribbon to officially open OWU’s new student hub, The 1842. The donor-funded venue features duckpin bowling, pinball machines, billiard tables, food service, and, as Bailey Terry ’29 shares, “a home for the community we’ve built here.”

Educational Impact
Professor Andrea Colvin is named an Academic Leadership Fellow with the Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA), strengthening OWU’s national leadership in teaching excellence and faculty development.
Recycling Award
The Keep Delaware County Beautiful Program honors David Soliday (right) for “significant contributions to recycling and waste-reduction efforts” through his work with the Upcycling Center at OWU and Sustainable Delaware Ohio.

Hoop Dream
The men’s basketball team scores over 100 points on the road for the first time since 1994 in a 106-90 win over John Carroll. Jake Lowman ’28 notches his first career double-double.
Making the Grades

‘Share Your Light’
At the 33rd Delaware County MLK Celebration, keynote speaker Sierra Austin-King honors the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for his role as a lantern keeper and outlines what people need to do to keep freedom’s flame burning. The annual event is held at Ohio Wesleyan University.
