OWU joins the Coalition for Transformational Education (CTE) and will discuss its groundbreaking work with the Constructive Dialogue Institute at CTE’s national meeting.
Powering Progress
OWU will host Kickstart Ohio, the region’s largest entrepreneurial conference, from March 24-26. Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak will serve as the keynote speaker.
‘Culture Push’
Christopher Yates, director of the Ross Art Museum, is launching new initiatives, including a “Culture Push” film series, using a $15,000 grant from the Art Bridges Foundation.
STEM Support
Ohio Wesleyan’s OWL Program earns a $20,000 Delaware County Foundation Grant to support its STEM programming for talented and gifted fifth- through eighth-graders statewide.
Learning in Bloom
Knowledge will take root and grow this spring through a catalog of classes being offered by OWU’s Lifelong Learning Institute. Registration is underway for the 55+ program.
Mr. Perseverance
Three knee and five foot surgeries later, OWU men’s basketball player Phil Wallace ’25 earns NCAC Athlete of the Week recognition for his perseverance and success on the court.
Exactly Right
Matt Weiss takes over as men’s soccer head coach, succeeding Jay Martin. Athletics Director Doug Zipp says Weiss is “exactly the right coach to lead our program well into the future.”
Casually Cooking
