OWU’s self-described Lizard League spends the summer studying the Common Wall Lizard and how the invasive species is spreading in urban Columbus and Cincinnati environments.
Spacetime Symmetries
Parthey Vasani ’27 works on his Summer Science Research Project, a physics-related exploration of spacetime symmetries and violations of those symmetries.
Unlimited Potential
The 2024-2025 Woltemade Economics and Business (WEB) Fellows include 19 students with a high potential for success at OWU and an interest in business-related studies.

Seeds of Imagination
Sarah Hahn ’08, OWU’s 2023-2024 artist-in-residence, installs her sculpture, “Where the Wind Carries You,” featuring three 10-foot-tall dandelion seeds. OWU will dedicate the sculpture Oct. 5.

Protect, Serve, and Celebrate!
The Delaware Police, Delaware Fire, and OWU Public Safety departments host a community tailgate Sept. 7 at Bishop Backers Fall Community Day. The Bishops bested the Otterbein Cardinals 26-7 on the football field, and eventgoers contributed $925 to support Stratford Ecological Center, an educational farm and nature center.
