Ohio Wesleyan’s Department of Performing Arts and Richard M. Ross Art Museum invite the community to attend the many concerts, recitals, plays, and art exhibitions planned for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Parisian Prescription
Bolu Ogunye ’24 earns a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study French language and culture at Les Cours de Civilisation Francaise de la Sorbonne in Paris.
Navigating Nepal

Learning in London
Dani Phillip ’25 visits The Kelpies sculpture in Scotland while studying in the United Kingdom. Time abroad helps “expand your perspective and worldview,” Phillip says.

Bot Builders
C.J. Delaney ’26 (left) and Wasif Karim ’26 travel to Massachusetts to participate in the Harvard PacBot Competition 2024. The students gain insights into “problem-solving, creative thinking, and innovation,” Karim says.

Anubhav Raghav ’25 attends the Yale Impact Investing Conference 2024, calling it “a pivotal moment” shaping his future. Raghav also earns two internships with the Ernst & Young accounting firm.

Upcycling Center

Adventure Awaits
Ohio Wesleyan will host 672 gifted-and-talented pupils between June 9 and July 26 for four weeklong sessions of the Ohio Wesleyan/Junior League of Columbus (OWjL) Camp.
Javelin Record
Trey Theobald ’25 wins All-America honors at the NCAA Division III outdoor track & field championship meet in South Carolina. His 213-6 throw is the best in NCAC history.
Lacrosse All-Americans
Five men’s lacrosse players, including Wade Beckstrom ’27, are named to the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America teams. Beckstrom also is the NCAC Newcomer of the Year.
Ohio LAX Hall of Fame
Former Battling Bishop men’s lacrosse attacker Rob Alvino ’88 and midfielder Tim James ’93 are selected for induction into the Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame in August.
