David Shakarashvili ’24 completes a data analytics internship with Mayo Clinic spin-off HeartWorks Inc., which focuses on cell-based products to cure congenital heart disease.

As director of Holistic Advising, Lauren Hensley will oversee the development and implementation of an advising program that goes beyond academics.

Lee Richards is named OWU’s new registrar. In the role, he will maintain academic records and work to help students graduate successfully.

National Awards Nominee
Field hockey and women’s track & field athlete Veronica Hardman ’23 is selected to represent OWU and the NCAC for the 2023 NCAA Woman of the Year and the D3CA Women’s Sport Student-Athlete of the Year honors.
Men’s Lacrosse Landmark
Spencer Amacher ’25 becomes the first Battling Bishop men’s lacrosse player to be recognized by College Sports Communicators as an Academic All-American. An attacker, Amacher is named a third team, at-large selection.
