Finding Answers
More than 50 Ohio Wesleyan students participating in this year’s 10-week Summer Science Research Program and in other on- and off-campus research programs will present their findings Sept. 27.
International Interests
OWU selects 20 first-year students as 2021-2022 Palmer Global Scholars. The scholars take special classes, receive funds for global projects, complete a thesis, and graduate with a global certificate.
‘Imagining Socialism’
English professor Mark Allison’s first book examines British socialist writing across the long 19th century – the century of socialism’s origin.
Game On!
Kyle Jenkins is named OWU’s first esports program coordinator and head coach. The varsity esports team will begin full competition in fall 2022.

OWU’s Career Connection expands its “Career Communities” with dedicated job experts in seven academic areas. The experts, or “catalysts,” help students with targeted job and career opportunities.

Lance Shearer, OWU’s new director of tennis, is committed “to excellence in academics and athletics.” He previously served as head girls coach at Buckeye Valley High School.

Celebration Weekend will include events Oct. 1-2 recognizing the record-setting Connect Today, Create Tomorrow campaign, a “W” Association induction ceremony, and lots of Bishop battles.
