Streamlining Space Studies
Chris Wolverton collaborates with other NASA-funded researchers to help standardize protocols for genetic studies conducted in outer space. They share their work in a new journal article.
Rookie of the Year
Women’s basketball player Lauren Denison ’24 is named Great Lakes Region Rookie of the Year by D3hoops.com. A guard, she ranked fourth in the NCAC in scoring and led in free throw percentage.
Scholar All-Americans
OWU wrestlers Max Beard ’22, Ross Eggleston ’22 (pictured), Ethan Laws ’24, Ryan McElwee ’22, and Bryce Wittman ’22 earn Scholar All-American honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
Record-Breaking Batter
Baseball player Izaiah Withrow ’22 drives in 9 runs to set a school record and help OWU outslug DePauw. The first baseman breaks the 8-run record held in a tie by four former Bishops.
Hall of Famers
Former Ohio Wesleyan men’s lacrosse head coach Jay Martin and players Dave Maguire ’98 and Darren McGurn ’98 will be inducted June 12 into the Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
