Branch Rickey Arena
Ohio Wesleyan’s Branch Rickey Arena is undergoing a $4 million renovation to outfit OWU’s home court with new flooring, bleachers, scoreboards, and more. The arena will reopen in November. (Rendering by Little Diversified Architectural Consulting)‘A One-of-a-Kind Experience’
Alexis Thomas ’20 traveled to Greece to explore the Apostle Paul’s influence in the region. With help from faculty member Carl Pace, Thomas earned an OWU Connection grant to support her experience.

‘Into My Garden’
Professor David Caplan publishes a new book of poetry that explores life in a Chassidic yeshiva, an institute for the study of Jewish texts. Critics say Caplan’s work is equally “profound, thoughtful, rigorous, tender.”
‘How 1954 Changed History’
Professor Michael Flamm creates a ‘Great Courses’ lecture for Amazon and Audible Originals that explores 1954, including the battle against polio, Red Scare, Brown v. Board of Education ruling, and birth of rock ’n’ roll.
New Post-Graduate Pathway
OWU partners with Case Western Reserve University to create an early admission pathway for students seeking a Master of Science in Management (MSM)-Finance from CWRU’s Weatherhead School of Management.
Rev1 Ventures
OWU’s Career Connection accelerates opportunities for students through a new Innovation Internship Program with Columbus-based Rev1 Ventures. OWU is one of two colleges selected for the program.
Supporting Students
OWU cancels a 3% tuition increase for the 2020-2021 academic year to support students and families during the pandemic. Most students will save about $1,400 next year as a result.
‘Stepping Up’
Ohio Wesleyan aids students by reducing the price of 2020 online summer courses from $2,800 to $1,900 for the first class and $1,500 for the second.
